Marrickville

The Journey

Designed to maximise both street appeal and everyday functionality, this project completely reimagined the front of the property into a vibrant, contemporary landscape inspired by natural forms and organic movement. Rather than a traditional front garden, the design focuses on creating an inviting journey through the space, using curved pathways, layered planting and handcrafted landscape features to soften the home’s street frontage.

At the heart of the project is a network of sweeping exposed aggregate pathways that weave through lush garden beds, connecting a bespoke recycled brick seating area, natural stone gabion walls and feature hardwood decking. Carefully selected planting, subtle landscape lighting and a fully automated irrigation system complete the transformation, ensuring the garden continues to thrive with minimal maintenance.
